About Australasian Youth Conferences
The Australasian Youth Conferences have been running biennially for nearly 80 years across New Zealand and Australia. These conferences have provided a haven for young people keen to learn about and study God’s word, and have facilitated many friendships.
In 1993, Youth Conference came to New Zealand for the first time. Since 1993 there has been a Conference in 2005 and in 2015 making NZYC 2025 the fourth Australasian conference to be held in New Zealand. Holding conference in New Zealand provides a unique opportunity for young people across both countries to mix and create friendships based upon God’s word. For many young people in New Zealand, conference in 2025 will be their only opportunity to get to an Australasian Youth Conference, making the experience truly ‘once in a lifetime.’
Conference will run for an entire week and will centered around the theme ‘Keep The Charge’ taken from I Timothy. A notes book will be provided to all attendees to aide their personal Bible study beforehand, and all attendees will be encouraged to complete it. The programme will include a mix of discussion groups, studies, workshops, activities and outings.
